About the university:

College of Business Studies (CBS) was established as a natural extension of the Institute of Banking Studies Cyprus (IBS Cyprus) with the expansion of its services to the field of academic education, accredited by the European Union and Cypriot Authorities.

College of Business Studies (CBS) is the only licensed provider of the American Bankers Association (ABA) outside the USA, which provides recognized and accredited business qualifications and corresponding diplomas to the business community, thus contributing to economic and social development. It was established by Cypriot institutions and executives in cooperation with relevant foreign bodies and has been in operation since October 2004. To date, 95% of its graduates working in financial institutions and other businesses in Cyprus and abroad.

Therefore, upon completion academic Programs of Study at CBS*, our students, along with globally recognized European academic diploma, also acquire the internationally-recognized Professional Certificate “General Banking” of the American Bankers Association, which significantly increases the chances of obtaining the desired job position, promotion and career growth.

 CBS Graduates will be qualified to work in a variety of industries, such as Accounting and Audit Firms, Banking, Government, Investment Firms, Stock Exchange, Education, Private Sector, (Accounting and Finance departments) and other.

CBS graduates, after completing Bachelor Programs will be well-placed to pursue further academic study at postgraduate programs in the field of Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management and to pursue specialized professional studies (ACCA-Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ICAEW-Institute of Chartered Accountants in England&Wales) in the field of Accounting.
