Latvia
- Scholarships for studying in Latvia can be received by the citizens of the following countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Finland, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Peru, Poland, South Korea, Tajikistan, China, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Iceland, Japan, Lithuania, Norway, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States.
- Scholarships for bachelor’s degree or master’s degree programmes are given for one year of study: 10 months Scholarships for doctoral degree programmes are given up to 11 months.
- The amount of the Latvian state scholarship for foreign bachelor’s degree and master’s degree students is EUR 500 per month, for doctoral degree students is EUR 670 per month.

- Academic and research staff of Universities of foreign countries can be eligible for fellowships for research.
- The duration of research activity in Latvia is up to 5 months.
- The amount of a fellowship is EUR 30 per day + EUR 300 per month for hotel accommodation.

- Students, academic and research staff of Universities of foreign countries can be eligible for fellowships to attend the summer school.
- The amount of the Latvian state fellowship is EUR 711 per participant for the entire period of the summer school.
- The money should be transferred to the organizer of the summer school.
- The travel expenses to the venue of the summer school should be paid by a participant.
